Jacksonville Lodge Buys Smoke Detectors for Low-Income Families

Oglesby Elks Use ENF Grant to Buy Holiday Turkeys

Oglesby Elks continued contributing to the Illinois Valley Food Pantry during the holidays. They used a $2,000 Elks National Foundation grant to buy holiday turkeys and hams for the pantry to distribute. Kankakee Lodge Donates Coats to Kids

Kankakee Lodge 627 donated 75 coats to students of Kankakee grade schools in December. Lodge Coats for Kids Chair Kerry Blue met with the kids and administrators to make the donation.

Mt. Vernon Elks Visit Marion Veterans Home

Mt. Vernon 819 members Bob Kane, Kari Docherty and Kathy Bowling get into the holiday spirit on their Christmas visit in December with a resident and Cubs fan at the Marion VA home. Christmas goodie bags, cards and candy canes were left for each resident of the home.

Elvis was spotted at Oak Lawn Elks Lodge

Elvis was spotted at Oak Lawn Lodge 2254 helping raise funds for the ENF in October. Members enjoyed an evening with Elvis and raised $1,079 in the process.

Quincy Dare Awards

Quincy Elks lodge 100 hosted 56 guests at the Dare awards presentation. 10 awards for essay winners were given out and served everyone a fantastic meal sponsored by the lodge. 

Quincy Gratitude Grant

The Elks lodge #100 completed the Gratitude grant with $1,000 going towards a voucher program at the Salvation Army and $1,000 towards Hygiene kit items to St John’s Open Hands pantry. Both groups will help the community with needed assistance in the areas that are not available with their current programs today.
