Mission of the Committee
This committee is charged with the duty of activating and quickening the spirit of American patriotism throughout the State of Illinois and shall vigorously carry out the Americanism program of the Grand Lodge. To promote programs which stress the history and the principles of our nation and the advantages of life in a free society and alert peoples to ideologies detrimental to our American way of life. Co-operate with all Lodges in promoting appropriate activities among the Lodges of the State for the observance of Flag Day. To perform other duties as may be assigned by The Governor or by the President.
